How does Phish Protection integrate with Office 365?

Integration uses Office 365's built-in mail flow rules (transport rules) to route inbound email through Phish Protection's scanning infrastructure. You create a connector in the Exchange Admin Center that directs email to our service before delivery to mailboxes.

No MX record changes are required. Your DNS stays the same, your mail routing stays the same, and your users do not need to change anything about how they use email. The entire integration is invisible to end users.

What email platforms are supported besides Office 365?

Phish Protection works with any email platform that supports standard SMTP mail routing. This includes Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, on-premise Microsoft Exchange, Zimbra, Postfix, and other SMTP-based mail servers.

The integration method varies by platform — Office 365 uses mail flow rules, Google Workspace uses routing settings in the Admin Console, and on-premise servers use standard SMTP relay configuration. The end result is the same: every inbound email is scanned before delivery.
